When is the best time to visit

Zimbabwe

zimbabwe

The best time to visit Zimbabwe really depends on which of its major attractions you’d like to see. It’s tricky to get the best of everything all in one go, which is why our customers book several trips with us over the course of a few years.

For Victoria Falls, any time if year is good but the best time is between March and May, when the volume of water thundering over the falls is at its peak. Hwange National Park, Mana Pools and Matobo are all open year-round. The dry season (Q2 & Q3 of the year) is better for viewing big game, while the wetter months (Q1 or Q4 of the calendar) bring an abundance of birdlife and vibrant bursts of plant life upon which they gorge themselves.
